My Story
This blog wasn’t created because I have all the answers, but because I understand what it’s like to carry questions, pain, and experiences that feel too heavy to share.
Like many people, I grew up hearing messages that valued strength but left little room for vulnerability. Mental health struggles, trauma, grief, and emotional pain were often dismissed or hidden, shaping how I saw myself, my relationships, and the world around me.
Over time, I realized that silence doesn’t protect us it isolates us. Healing began when I found the courage to face my experiences, ask difficult questions, and accept that needing support isn’t a weakness.
I’m still learning and healing, and I don’t have everything figured out. But I believe our stories matter, that honest conversations can save lives, and that everyone deserves a space where they can feel seen without judgment.
That’s why Sitting in Discomfort exists.
Whether you’re struggling, supporting someone you love, or seeking a deeper understanding of mental health, I hope you find compassion, insight, and community here. You don’t have to carry everything alone.
