You Were Never Too Much...

Somewhere along the way , many of us learned to question ourselves.

Too loud

Too quiet

Too emotional

Too masculine

Too feminine

Too black

Too queer

Too different

Too much

The world has a way of making people believe that being different is something to fix instead of something to embrace.

How many people have spent years trying to become smaller...

Less noticeable

Less expressive

Less authentic

Just to make someone else comfortable

The truth is, constantly shrinking yourself to gain acceptance comes at a cost.

It costs your peace

Your identity

Your confidence

And eventually , your sense of self.

Healing beings the moment you stop asking,

" How can I make myself easier to love?"

And start asking,

" Why have I been made to believe I need to change to deserve love at all ?"

You don't have to become someone else to be worthy.

You don't have to earn belonging

You don't have to apologize for existing exactly as you are.

Your story matters

Your identity matters

Your mental health matters

AND SO DO YOU

At Sitting In Discomfort , we believe healing starts when people are given the freedom to show up as their own selves.

No masks

No pretending

No shrinking

Just honesty

Because everyone deserves a space where they can be seen, heard, and loved without conditions.
